Meet the Team
Dylan Wallinger, Founder & CEO
Dylan leads Sea Lion with a clear mission: make zero-emission construction equipment the new normal. With a background in cleantech, finance, and business building, he brings big-picture strategy and hands-on leadership to everything from product design to global partnerships. When he’s not working, you’ll find him outdoors - usually near water, trees, great people or good food - with his wife and their three rescue dogs.
Liz Wallinger, Founder & CFO
Liz is in charge of everything involving numbers at Sea Lion. With deep experience in finance, strategy, and sustainability, she helps guide smart growth while keeping the finance function on track. Outside work, Liz is happiest on the water, spending time in the Gulf Islands with her family and their three Mexican street dogs.
Jason Christjansen, Founder & COO
From supply chain to logistics to deliveries to service to day-to-day operations, Jason makes sure Sea Lion delivers on its promises. With years of experience in sales and operations, Jason is a Jack-of-all-trades and the grease that keeps things running. Off the clock, Jason enjoys boating, hiking, and supporting local initiatives in British Columbia.
Joel Dampier, Founder & CRO
Joel drives revenue and relationships at Sea Lion, helping customers make the switch to electric equipment with confidence. With a background in construction, powerline work, and automotive sales, he understands both the jobsite and the sales floor. Joel’s all about practical solutions, strong partnerships, and building a business that works in the real world. When he’s not working, Joel loves fitness, the outdoors and helping people and animals.
