Sea Lion Moves Assembly to British Columbia, Canada

Sea Lion’s assembly has moved to BC!

All products will be assembled on Vancouver Island and in Powell River.

Sea Lion Electric Equipment is proud to announce that all equipment will now be assembled in Canada. All machines will be built in Powell River and on Vancouver Island using a mix of domestic and imported parts.

CEO Dylan Wallinger states:

“We are very pleased to be able to bring our manufacturing back home. Onshoring gives us greater control of our QA/QC procedures and allows us to fulfill customer orders much more quickly. We remain 100% Canadian/Employee-owned and are excited to be able to utilize local talent and materials. We have a mandate to use Canadian suppliers whenever practicable and are always looking for more options. Sea Lion’s machines have always been designed for Canadian conditions, by Canadians – now they’ll be assembled here”

The political and economic climate in Canada is focussed on domestic manufacturing and clean energy initiatives and the federal government itself has developed a Buy Canadian Policy. Sea Lion believes there is no better time to bring manufacturing to British Columbia.
